Nehemia 5:15

SV	En de vorige landvoogden, die voor mij geweest zijn, hebben het volk bezwaard, en van hen genomen aan brood en wijn, daarna veertig zilveren sikkelen; ook heersten hun jongens over het volk; maar ik heb alzo niet gedaan, om der vreze Gods wil.
WLC	וְהַפַּחֹות֩ הָרִאשֹׁנִ֨ים אֲשֶׁר־לְפָנַ֜י הִכְבִּ֣ידוּ עַל־הָעָ֗ם וַיִּקְח֨וּ מֵהֶ֜ם בְּלֶ֤חֶם וָיַ֙יִן֙ אַחַר֙ כֶּֽסֶף־שְׁקָלִ֣ים אַרְבָּעִ֔ים גַּ֥ם נַעֲרֵיהֶ֖ם שָׁלְט֣וּ עַל־הָעָ֑ם וַאֲנִי֙ לֹא־עָשִׂ֣יתִי כֵ֔ן מִפְּנֵ֖י יִרְאַ֥ת אֱלֹהִֽים׃
Trans.	wəhap^aḥwōṯ hāri’šōnîm ’ăšer-ləfānay hiḵəbîḏû ‘al-hā‘ām wayyiqəḥû mēhem bəleḥem wāyayin ’^aḥar kesef-šəqālîm ’arəbā‘îm gam n^a‘ărêhem šāləṭû ‘al-hā‘ām wa’ănî lō’-‘āśîṯî ḵēn mipənê yirə’aṯ ’ĕlōhîm:

AC	טו והפחות הראשנים אשר לפני הכבידו על העם ויקחו מהם בלחם ויין אחר כסף שקלים ארבעים--גם נעריהם שלטו על העם ואני לא עשיתי כן מפני יראת אלהים
ASV	But the former governors that were before me were chargeable unto the people, and took of them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver; yea, even their servants bare rule over the people: but so did not I, because of the fear of God.
BE	But earlier rulers who were before me made the people responsible for their upkeep, and took from them bread and wine at the rate of forty shekels of silver; and even their servants were lords over the people: but I did not do so, because of the fear of God.
Darby	But the former governors that were before me had been chargeable to the people, and had taken of them bread and wine, besides forty shekels of silver: even their servants bore rule over the people. But I did not so, because of the fear of God.
ELB05	Aber die früheren Landpfleger, die vor mir gewesen waren, hatten das Volk beschwert und Brot und Wein von ihnen genommen, nebst vierzig Sekel Silber; auch ihre Diener schalteten willkürlich über das Volk. Ich aber tat nicht also, aus Furcht vor Gott.
LSG	Avant moi, les premiers gouverneurs accablaient le peuple, et recevaient de lui du pain et du vin, outre quarante sicles d'argent; leurs serviteurs mêmes opprimaient le peuple. Je n'ai point agi de la sorte, par crainte de Dieu.
Sch	Denn die frühern Landpfleger, die vor mir gewesen, hatten das Volk bedrückt und von ihnen Brot und Wein genommen, dazu vierzig Schekel Silber; auch ihre Leute herrschten mit Gewalt über das Volk; ich aber tat nicht also, um der Furcht Gottes willen.
